Holocaust survivor shows courage in recounting painful tale
Marion Blumenthal Lazan, the author of "Four Perfect Pebbles," was 6 years old in 1939 when German soldiers invaded Holland and imprisoned her Jewish family in a concentration camp. She didn't regain her full freedom again until the mid-1940s. Lazan spoke last week to students at the Spring-Ford Seventh Grade Center on the same day President Barack Obama was inaugurated as the nation's 44th president. Lazan gave a similar presentation the next day at Pottsgrove High School. .
