Holland America to contribute goods from cruise ships to needy

Holland America Line as well as Port Everglades are starting a charitable program Friday in which goods used aboard the company's cruise liners will be delivered to the needy.

Ship to Shelter, a program that the Seattle-based company started in April 2008 in companionship regardless of the Port of Seattle, is designed to take reusable goods from Holland The states ships sailing from Port Everglades moreover accommodate with them to locals.

Hundreds of individual toiletry items will be taken from four Holland America ships starting Friday and will be donated to Cooperative Feeding Broward. Weekly toiletry donations will be produced including linens, dishes, cookware as a consequence silverware will to boot be given periodically.
